day 01 Milan-Como-Milan
Meeting with the tour leader directly at the hotel scheduled for the tour, to start a sightseeing visit of Milan,
regarded in the whole world as the city of fashion and shopping; visit to discover its symbols including the Duomo,
the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and La Scala Theatre House. Soon afterwards, a half-day excursion to Como, a small
gem full of history. Walk in the city centre and short boat trip around to admire the landscape from a different
perspective. Return to Milan and hotel accommodation. Welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
day 02 Milan-Sirmione-Verona-Mestre
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Sirmione, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Lake Garda. On
arrival, boat tour to discover the main locations including Maria Callas’ Villa, the Scaligero Castle and the ruins of an
ancient Roman villa, commonly called “Grotte di Catullo”. Continuation to Verona and free time to visit the romantic
city par excellence, the theatre of Romeo and Juliet’s love story. In the afternoon, departure for Mestre and hotel
accommodation. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
day 03 Mestre-Venice-Mestre
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Island of Venice, a magical city, unique in its kind. Guided tour of the
historic center passing through Piazza San Marco, the heart of the city, with its extraordinary buildings (Basilica di San
Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Torre dell'Orologio) and for the Bridge of Sighs. Departure by boat to Murano to visit a
famous glass factory and admire the glass processing. Return to Piazza San Marco and free time, with the possibility
of a tour in gondola as an optional tour. At the appointed time, return to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay.
day 04 Mestre-Bologna-Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Bologna. Free time to visit the main tourist locations of the city as the
imposing Piazza Maggiore and the Torri degli Asinelli and Garisenda. Early in the afternoon, continuation to Florence.
On arrival, visit of the historic centre passing by the symbolic places of the city, like Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral
of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Signoria [vedi sopra le alternative] and Ponte Vecchio. Hotel accommodation.
day 05 Florence
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to explore Florence, also called the “Cradle of Renaissance”, one of the most famous
cities in the world, with its unique artistic and cultural centre Possibility of optional tours, such as the visit of the
Uffizi Gallery, the Academy Gallery or an excursion to immerse oneself in / plunge into the scents and colours of the
Chianti district. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay.
day 06 Florence-San Gimignano-Siena-Rome
Breakfast at the hotel and at scheduled time departure for / bound to San Gimignano. free visit of the small medieval
village declared patrimony of the humanity by UNESCO. Continuation to Siena and guided tour of the city built
around Piazza del Campo, famous throughout the world for its architectural beauty and its particular “shell” shape. In
the afternoon, departure for Rome and arrival at the city centre in the evening.
