day 01 Palermo
Arrive at Palermo airport and transfer independetly to your hotel for dinner.
day 02 Palermo-Calatrasi-Palermo
Today, we visit the Palatine Chapel in the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, Massimo Theatre, Pretoria Square in front of the city house. Continue to San Cipirello, a small village located 20 kms from Palermo to enjoy your lunch at Calatrasi Cellar where we will have wine tasting. In the afternoon, we head back to Palermo where you will have the evening at leisure.
day 03 Palermo-Segesta-Erice-Trapani-Marsala
Depart to Segesta visit the Doric Temple surrounded by beautiful landscape. Continue to Erice and visit the small medieval village with its tiny and characteristic streets. You have some time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon, you will see the panoramic view of Trapani, and mostly its salt lakes, on the way to Marsala. Arrive in Marsala and enjoy dinner at Pellegrini Cellar where we will have also a wine tasting from the oldest to the youngest wines. Overnight in Marsala.
day 04 Marsala-Selinunte-Menfi-Agrigento
Today, we visit Selinunte & visit the archaeological area, which offers beautiful and perfectly well conserved temples. Continue to Menfi on the road to Agrigento. Lunch at Lanzara Cellars the beautiful atmosphere of baglio San Vincenzo (old farmhouse). Enjoy Lanzara wine tasting. In the afternoon, continue to Argigento where you will have the evening at leisure.
day 05 Agrigento-Piazza Armerina-Caltagirone-Ragusa
We visit the famous Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, known as the “City Kissed by Gods”. And continue to Piazza Armerina where we will visit Romana Villa del Casale known for its 3500sqm of mosaics which has been declared Unesco patrimony.Time at leisure for lunch and depart for Caltagirone, baroque city where we will have dinner at Donnafugata Cellar and taste also the regional wines such as the Nerello Mascakese or Cerasuolo de Vittoria overnight in Ragusa.
day 06 Ragusa-Catania-Mt Etna-Catania
After breakfast, depart to Catania for panoramic visit. Then continue to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano of Europe. We will reach 1800 meters to visit the Sylvester craters. We will have lunch at Murgò s cellar based on bio products and we will have an Etna wine tasting. We drive back to Catania where you will have the evening at leisure.
day 07 Catania
After breakfast, your tour comes to an end. Own arrangement for departure.
Inclusions: twin share in 4 star accommodation, driver-minivan, tour escort, breakfast daily, three lunches, one dinner with wine tasting, local taxes.
