day 01 Wed Madrid-Lugo
Own arrangements to the coach terminal for a departure at 08.00am to Lugo in the region of Galicia for dinner and overnight.
day 02 Thu Lugo-La Coruna
In the morning, you will depart to la Coruna for a short panoramic tour. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or join an optional excursion to the Rias Altas through typical villages as Pontedeume and Betanzos. Dinner will be served at the hotel in the evening.
day 03 Fri La Coruna-Santiago de Compostella
After breakfast, we head to Santiago de Compostela where you will go on a city tour of this legendary pilgrimage town.The afternoon is at leisure and enjoy dinner in the evening.
day 04 Sat Santiago-Rias Bajas-Vigo
This morning, we depart for the area of Spanish Fjords (Rias Bajas) travelling through splendid landscapes such as La Toja Island, Ria de Arosa and Pontevedra. Optiona tour to Santa Tecla and Valença do Miño, across the Portuguese border. Then, you continue to Vigo for dinner and overnight.
day 05 Vigo-Braga-Guimarães-Oporto
Today, you will cross the Portuguese borders, arriving to Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary, close to Braga. You will do a brief stop before heading to Braga, ancient Roman City where you will have some free time to explore. After lunch at leisure, we will continue our journey to Guimarães, birthplace of the Portuguese History. Enjoy some time at leisure before you continue to Oporto for dinner and overnight.
day 06 Oporto-Fatima
Morning city sightseeing tour of this charming city by the Duero. Famous because of its denomination of origin wines, its bridges, the coast, Cathedral, San Francisco church and the Palacio da Bolsa. Continue to Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado. Free time, in the afternoon continue to Fatima for dinner and overnight.
day 07 Fatima-Lisbon
Today, you will have some time at leisure to visit the Shrine of this important pilgrimage center. In the afternoon, you will depart to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. This journey could be optionally operated visiting the Batalha Monastery, located in the small fishing village of Nazaré and the beautiful city of Ovidos. Arrive to Lisbon for overnight.
day 08 Lisbon
In the morning, you will go on a city sightseeing tour including old Alfama Quarter, Tower of Belem and Monastery of Los Jeronimos. The afternoon is at leisure or you can join an optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. B
day 09 Lisbon-Caceres-Madrid
After breakfast, you will head to the border with Spain and continue to Caceres. You will have some time at leisure to see its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and considered as World Heritage place. Lunch will be at leisure. Then, you will continue onto Madrid where yourt tour comes to an end upon arrival.
