day 01 Lisbon Arrival
Met on arrival at Lisbon Airport and transferred to your four star hotel in Lisbon city centre.
day 02 Lisbon-Arraiolos-Évora
Depart to Arraiolos, where we will have a guided tour of the cellars of the worldly acclaimed wines of Herdade dos Coelheiros, distinguished with the highest world honors and medals. Taste their wines, then walk or cycle through the vineyards. Free time for lunch. Enjoy a panoramic drive on the way to the hotel. B W/T
day 03 Évora-Estremoz-Borba-Évora
Today we travel to Estremoz for a walking tour through the historic centre and view the ancient castle now a Posada, followed by the visit of the famous “Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo Wine” the visit will be followed by wine tasting. We continue our travels to Borba to visit the “Adega Cooperativa de Borba”. This adega is one of the region's largest, producing the famous Borba full-bodied red and white Maduro. Remainder of the afternoon free to enjoy the city of Evora. B W/T
day 04 Évora-Reguencos de Monsaraz-Monsaraz-Évora
Depart to Reguengos de Monsaraz to visit Herdade of Esporão, one of the first vineyards in Portugal to get involved in ‘wine tourism’. At approximately 13.00 an “enogastronomic” lunch it will be served, which includes the taste of olive oil and 3 different wines. Late afternoon return to the hotel in Évora. B W/T L
day 05 Évora-Lisbon
Morning tour of Évora ending at the Cartuxa Adega (wine cellar), a former Jesuit House located next to the Cartuxa
Convent. The visit will end with a taste of 3 different wines, accompanied by typical snacks: bread, sausages, cheeses and jams. Proceed to Lisbon and remainder of the day is at leisure in Lisbon. B W/T
day 06 Lisbon-Sintra-Lisbon
Morning guided tour of Lisbon: panoramic of the main streets and squares of the city, walking tour through one of the oldest quarters, the Alfama and in Belém visit St Jeronimos Monastery. Free time for lunch.
Afternoon excursion to Sintra, visit the Royal Palace), then continue to Estoril it became one of the most cosmopolitan and touristic places in Portugal since King Luís I chose the bay for his summer residence in the late 19th century. On to Cascais, another popular destination positioned at the most westerly point of mainland Europe. Evening return to the hotel.
day 07 Lisbon Departure
At the designated time you will be transferred to Lisbon Airport
Inclusions: twin share at quality 4* hotels (option to choose 3* or 5* properties), buffet breakfast daily, English speaking professional tourism driver/guide for the whole circuit, travel by private deluxe a/c mini-van during the entire program, fresh water, wi-fi inside the mini-van, visits and wine tasting to the nominated vineyards, visit- wine tasting and lunch with drinks at “Herdade of Esporão”, snacks will be served with the wine tasting, all applicable taxes according with Portuguese law, additional entries to be paid locally.
