4D/3N - 2020 Wines of Tuscany and Cinque Terre from Rome

day 1 Rome-Pisa-Lucca-La Spezia

Departure at 8:00 am (possibility to pick up from central hotels in Rome) heading to Pisa. Visit of the city of the Leaning Tower, a unique masterpiece in the World located in Piazza dei Miracoli. Continue on to Lucca, one of the flagships of the Tuscany region, also known as the "city of a hundred churches” for the large number of religious buildings in the historic center. Departure for La Spezia and accommodation at the hotel. Welcome dinner at local restaurant and overnight stay.

day 2 La Spezia-Cinque Terre-Siena area

After breakfast, departure by boat for an unforgettable day dedicated to discover of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscape in the World : Cinque Terre, it is an area suspended between sea and land, hanging from sheer cliffs surrounded by hills and vineyards. You will enter into a little piece of heaven. By touring the coast line by boat, you will have the possibility to admire this amazing landscape from the seaside. (*In the event of rough sea, the visit will be done by train.) During the tour, the boat will reach Porto Venere and the most important villages where you can stop and visit them! You can take some pictures in Porto Venere, Vernazza and Monterrosso, walking into the narrow streets and immerse yourself in a colorful postcard! Then you will reach la Spezia by train and form there you will take a private motor coach to proceed to Siena area.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

day 3 Siena -Gaiole in Chianti-Radda in Chianti-Greve in Chianti-San Casciano in Val di Pesa-San Gimignano
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to discover the wonderful Chianti area, always considered the heart of Tuscany and famous throughout the world for its renowned wines. Free time in Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. Continue to San Gimignano and on the way stop near San Casciano in Val di Pesa for a wine tasting in a charming winery. Upon arrival in San Gimignano, free visit of the historic center of this small medieval town declared heritage of humanity by UNESCO. A second wine tasting will be the perfect end of a wonderful day. Coming back to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

day 4 Siena Area-Siena-Montepulciano-Rome

Breakfast at the hotel and at the established time guided tour of the historic center of Siena, medieval city built around Piazza del Campo, famous throughout the World for its architectural beauty and its particular "shell" shape. Proceeding to Montepulciano to taste the Vino Nobile, one of the oldest and most prestigious wines of the Tuscany. Immediately after, departing to Rome and arrival in the city center in the late afternoon where your tour will come to an end.
