Guided visit of the Basilica of St Anthony, see relics, chalices and documents relating to his life. We continue to the hill town of Monselice and walk up to the “seven churches” to the top of the hill. View the Euganean Hills and visit the Abbey of Praglia, in the silence of its cloisters a precious inheritance of history and art. St Anthony of Padua is the patron saint of “lost things”. This tour includes a guided visit of the Basilica where you will see relics, chalices and documents relating to his life. At the end of the visit you can write your own prayer of petition to St Anthony and place it on his tomb. The itinerary takes you to the hill town of Monselice, where you will start from the centre and walk up to the “seven churches” to the top of the hill. You will have free time to walk around. On return you will see the Euganean hills and end the day at the Abbey of Praglia. The Abbey preserves in the silence of its cloisters a precious inheritance of history and art.

At 11.00 join an intensive guided visit of Saint Mark’s Basilica for one hour. At 12.15 cross to the Doge’s Palace for a guided tour of the Palace including the Prisons. At leisure until the afternoon when you transfer to the pier meet at the designated point. At 16.00 and depart for a cruise on a typical Venetian fishing flat bottom boat “Il Bragozzo”. 09.00 meet at the designated point and we make our way to the south-east of Treviso to a 17C villa once the home of the famous Doge Giustinian. Surrounded by 40 hectares of vineyards this area is perfect for the production of high quality wine, due to the characteristics of the very fertile land. The grapes cultivated are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Refrosco and Raboso, Verduzzo, Chardonay, Pinot Grigio, Tocai, Traminer, and Prosecco all grapes are typical of this area. When you arrive you will have the chance to see how they are producing the superlative wines today, visit the cantina with its huge wine barrels and then enjoy the wine tasting combined with appetisers of local products. You will also have the opportunity to stock up on a few bottles of vino. Possibility for a late afternoon for a classic gondola ride.
