will show you one of the loveliest villas and gardens
on Lake Como. He 18C Villa Balbianello on the tip of the
Lavedo promontory is perhaps the most spectacular spot
on the Lake. Visit the exquisitely furnished interiors
and the great collection of pre-Columbian objects, Chinese
porcelain and terracotta, reverse glass paintings, tapestries
and carpets that belonged to its last owner, Count Guido
Monzino, a keen explorer renowned for climbing Mount Everest
in 1973. |

stop for coffee before proceeding to Poschiavo and ontinue
on the Bernina Express to Diavolezza, travelling along
one of the most panoramic section of the Bernina Railway.

By coach to ski resort of St Moritz. Views of the Engadine
Valley with its numerous crystal clear mountain lakes.
We stop in Chiavenna on the return journey and have some
free time before returning to Lake Como. |

On the way back we will
stop at the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia for an aperitif on the hotel's panoramic terrace. |

Meet your local tour guide visiting enchanting churches, palaces and squares. Then free to take a stroll along the characteristic cobbled lanes lined by handcraft shops, bars and restaurants.
Option B Lugano & Como: Meet at the pick up point and depart for the charming city of Lugano. Visit a chocolate producer, lively Via Nassa, Riforma Square, the elegant buildings and shops, or visit the
Park Ciani, the Church of St Maria degli Angeli. Continue to Como, view the production of fine silk at a typical workshop. Leisurely explore the town centre before making your way back to your hotel. |
