day 1 Naples-Nerano

Leisurely breakfast on home-made products and fruits of the season, served in the panoramic breakfast room and terrace. Join your driver in the afternoon on an excursion to Sorrento. Visit Sorrento at your own pace then dine at a typical Pizzeria.

Excursion to the enchanting Amalfi Coast villages, we visit Positano and Ravello. You will discover centuries old vineyards and villages where time has stood still. Oenology experience on the award winning Falanghina and Aglianico wines, snack on the cheeses and cured meats of the house.

Your day is at leisure to explore your favourite sites relax or join an optional tour to Naples, Pompeii or Vietri.

day 1 Naples-Praiano

After breakfast, boat excursion to Positano. Sail along the coast with en route stop at the Emerald Grotto. Leisurely visit the town of Positano. Afternoon boat trip back to base and be ready for your first cooking lesson.
At 15.30 your lesson will be dedicated to Pasta, Chef Carmine will demonstrate hand made pasta and sauces. Dinner will be served at 20.00.

Morning drive to Pompeii. On arrival visit the 2000 year old ruins at your pace, entrance included. Back to base in the afternoon for your second lesson with Chef Ciro. Today, it will be traditional Neapolitan Pizza and Fish from the local coast.

After breakfast your morning is at leisure. In the afternoon meet with Chef Salvatore for your third cooking lesson dedicated to desserts followed by your graduation ceremony with the Chefs and dinner.

Morning drive along the coast to visit Amalfi, renowned for the Duomo, the Paradise Cloister, the Arsenals and also the Paper Mill Museum. Remainder of the day will be at the Vineyards of Tenuta San Francesco producers of fine DOC wines and rediscover the tastes and flavours of a rural world.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Naples Airport or Rail Station.

Depart from the meeting point for a full day excursion along the awesome Amalfi Coastal Road. Visit the magnificent 9th Century Cathedral which dominates the main square of Amalfi and then on to Ravello, where Richard Wagner often composed his music. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Afternoon return to Sorrento.

From the meeting point depart by hydrofoil for Ischia where you’ll meet your local tour guide. View some typical villages as you travel through the Island. Optional time at leisure to enjoy the popular natural spa, (hot pools, saunas), or stroll through the village to discover the other half of the island.

Boat trip to the island of the sirens, which has inspired an endless number of artists. At leisure to stroll the Piazzetta and the Gardens of Augustus, with views of the Faraglioni Rocks and the rugged coast.

On the tour of Pompeii your guide will lead you through ancient streets, view the Baths, Forums and villas. Transfer to the Port and depart by ferry for Sicily, reserved seats (poltrona). Arrival is expected at 22.00.

Note the varied vegetation and landscapes that we encounter on the way to the Silvesti Craters (1.900m) the most active volcano in Europe set in the largest protected parkland in Italy with). Visit a beekeeper taste the quality honey and also some wine. On to Taormina, set on a rocky plateau on the slopes of Mt Tauro with its famous Greek-Roman Theatre.

On our full day excursion, we visit Noto. On to the archaeological site of Siracusa and guided tour of the Roman Amphitheatre, the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysus, the Cave of the Cordari, the historical Island of Ortigia with its stunning Cathedral.
