Depart for Lake Constance, on the northern shore located between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Join a walking tour of the beautiful village of Lindau before we continue to Konstanz the largest town on the Lake, on the border of Switzerland and he birthplace of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, the famous airship pioneer.

Depart for the Black Forest, renowned not only for the delicious cakes and cuckoo clocks, but also the spectacular landscapes. Panoramic drive to the idyllic town of Freiburg and guided visit on arrival. Continue to Heidelberg, the oldest German university town and impressive castle. Farewell dinner at the famous 16C Restaurant Zum Ritter St Georg.

Travel up to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, (UNESCO WHS) renowned for its vineyards and wines. In Ruedesheim we board a Rhine River Cruise, view fascinating castles, ruins and the legendary Loreley Rock. We meet our coach in St Goarshausen to bring us back for a panoramic tour of Frankfurt where our journey ends at approximately 16.00.

Back to traces of Luther when we visit Wittenberg, where the reformation started on 31 October 1517 when Martin, according to legend, nailed his 95 theses to the portal of the Castle Church. We depart for Potsdam and the impressive courtyards of Sanssouci Palace, summer residence of Frederick the Great. Late afternoon arrival in Berlin.

Travelling northbound to Hamburg and the highlights of this city, such as St Michaelis Church, St Pauli Quarter, Landungsbruecken, Speicherstadt, the new Hafen City. Then discover Germany’s largest port on harbour cruise. Evening at leisure.

Departure for the seafaring city of Bremen. See ‘Roland’ at the Market Square, the Cathedral, the City Hall and the bronze statue of Grimms’ Bremer Stadtmusikanten. Walk through the narrow streets and tiny houses of the Schnoor Quarter, then we turn to the famous German Fairy Tale Route and we reach Hamelin, known for the Brothers Grimm’s Pied Piper. A wealthy trading centre on the River Weser which is reflected the lavishly decorated houses. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Along the River Weser we follow the Fairy Tale Route to the unique best preserved half-timbered city of Hann.Muenden a jewel of the Weser Renaissance architecture. Stopping along the way we continue for Frankfurt and panoramic tour of the city on arrival.
