day 01 Arrive Dubrovnik
Upon arrival to Dubrovnik you will be transferred to pier for embarkation at noon. Meet your travel companions and your Cruise Manager for a Welcome Reception. Evening time at leisure, take a walk through Dubrovnik small and vibrant streets. Overnight on board.
day 02 Dubrovnik-Mljet-Korcula
Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the pearl of Adriatic famous city enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage. Visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy. Lunch is on board. Set sail Mljet Island. Mljet National Park features five types of forest and two deep lakes Veliko Jezero (Big Lake and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Continue cruising to Korcula, the acclaimed birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Enjoy dinner on board. BLD
day 03 Korcula-Hvar
A walking tour of Korcula old town takes you through narrow, cobbled streets and will include visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Departure to Hvar Island en route lunch and stop for swimming, late afternoon arrival at Hvar, enjoy a tour of Hvar, town with the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare Theatre in the UK), Franciscan Monastery and many more. Evening at leisure in Hvar, dine at one of the many restaurants in town. BL
day 04 Hvar-Bol-Split
Sail to Bol that has the best beach in Croatia, Golden Horn. This vast golden pebble beach is unique by changing shape and position depending on the winds. Continue sailing to Split, with lunch on board. Upon arrival afternoon walking tour of the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. BL
day 05 Split-Trogir-Sibenik
Today we will continue or journey to UNESCO City of Trogir. Time at leisure in Trogir to explore this unique city, lunch on board and we continue to Sibenik with stop on the way for swimming. After we arrive in Sibenik, a walking tour shows you the highlights of the city. Evening is at leisure. BL
day 06 Sibenik-Sali
The Sibenik is home to two National Parks, Krka with its waterfalls and Kornati which has more than 140 islands. Your day is devoted to these scenic destinations. Lunch on board then next destination is Sali. Tonight enjoy captains dinner with live entertainment on board. BLD
day 07 Sali- Zadar
Sailing onto Zadar, stop for a swim followed by lunch on board, late afternoon arrival in Zadar and guided city tour. Zadar’s historical centre is a compact pedestrian zone, perfect to explore on foot and admire the walls built in 16th century by Venetians as a defence from the Turks. You will see 16th century Port Gate where the Venetian lion (symbol of Venice) still guards the entrance, then to the Square of the 5 Wells, Church of St Donat, Roman Forum (1st century BC) and the huge St Anastasia Cathedral. day 08 Zadar-Opatija
Disembark after breakfast then you will travel by coach northbound to Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have your camera ready as we take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Continue to Opatija. Enjoy a walk along the Seaside Promenade, view the famous villas and other major tourist sights, dinner at your hotel. BD
day 09 Opatija
Head to Pula and enjoy an orientation tour, a strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. You will visit the Amphitheater, the sixth largest of its kind to be preserved in the world today. Continue to the beautiful resort of Rovinj. Enjoy free time exploring the old town and its narrow lanes before returning to Opatija. B
day 10 Opatija-Postojna-Venice
Travel via Slovenia to Venice. Stop and visit Postojna Caves. With access to over five kilometres of caves, the Postojna Caves, Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Continue onto Venice. B
day 11 Venice
Today, begin with a tour of Venice with a boat ride to Murano where you will visit a glass blowing factory and watch a demonstration of a traditional Venetian glass blowing. Today, begin with a tour of Venice. Then onto St Mark’s Square on a walking tour, visit St Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace; view the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop or join an optional gondola ride. Farewell dinner. BD
day 12 Depart Venice
Tour comes to an end this morning. You will be transfer to Venice airport for your flight home. B
