LA CUCINA DEL SOLE
Monica Consoli (Eleonora’s daughter) is a culinary expert of traditional Italian and Sicilian cuisine and an excellent cook. She holds cooking classes in her Sicilian house of the 18th century in Viagrande, one of the most characteristic villages on the slopes of Mt. Etna.
Cooking classes focus on the most famous Sicilian recipes that require fresh and local ingredients, paying special attention to pasta, fish and vegetable dishes. Cooking classes introduce Sicilian cuisine to any beginner but also offer the chance to experience the traditions and values of the Sicilian lifestyle.
Each lesson lasts about 3 hours with final lunch that consists in the dishes made during the cooking class.
Other classes available on request include: Italian Cuisine, Haute Cuisine, Country-style Cookery, Plate and Table Decoration, Etiquette, Ecole Ménagère, Quick Recipes, Hand-Made Pasta, Lectures and Tasting of olive oil, Lectures and Tasting of Sicilian and/or Italian cheese.
