Morning transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Met on arrival by your guide, commence touring the monumental Aswan High Dam. On to the granite quarries, used in most pyramids and temples and the unfinished Obelisk, it would have weighed over 1,100tons (the world¡¯s largest piece of stone ever
handled). Boat trip to the Temple of Philae on the island of Agilka. The Temple was dedicated to Isis, patroness of the Ptolemaic rule. Board your vessel in time for lunch. Sail around Elephantine Island
on a felucca. Return to your cruise ship and sail to Kom-Ombo.

Visit the Temple of Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility, it stands at a bend, where crocodiles basked in the sun. On your cruise continue to EdfuSet, then, out by horse-drawn carriage to visit the perfectly preserved Temple of Horus. Also known as Haroeris, was the falcon-headed solar war god. Return on board and on to cross the lock of Esna.

Across the West Bank of the Nile, visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of 62 pharaohs have been discovered. Visit several of the tombs, then to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This beautiful monument rises out of the desert in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it.
